Marysville residents and businesses will have improved connectivity thanks to new nbn technology. The updates are part of the Connecting Victoria program, being delivered by the Department of Government Services.
The service will provide Fibre to the Premise (FTTP) connections to more than 360 homes and businesses across Marysville.
The upgrades offer many benefits including:
- smoother video calls
- better streaming
- quicker response times for gaming
- the ability to have smart TVs, home security systems and smart home technology operating at the same time.
A key goal of the Connecting Victoria program is to fast-track more than 130 mobile and broadband projects. To date, 140 broadband projects have been completed.
Victorians can check if they’re eligible for an upgrade via the ‘check your address’ function on the nbn website.
