The Orange Door Network is expanding, with lease agreements now signed for 4 more primary sites.

Minister for Prevention of Family Violence Gabrielle Williams this week announced that sites have been confirmed in:

  • Southern Melbourne
  • Western Melbourne
  • Wimmera South West

Given its geographical area, Wimmera South West will have two primary sites in Horsham and Warrnambool.

Each primary site will be complemented by access points and outposts, making it even easier for people to get in-person support wherever they live.

With 7 areas now operating across the state, The Orange Door Network will be open in all Department of Health and Human Services areas by the end of 2022.

The Orange Door Network is a free service for people of all ages and backgrounds to seek help and support for family violence, as well as with the wellbeing and development of children.

The unique service model brings together workers from specialist family violence, child and family, Aboriginal and men’s services to provide a coordinated network of specialist support services. You can get help and support from The Orange Door Network in person or over the phone, with no referral required.

Existing services continue to be available in areas where The Orange Door Network is yet to open. You can search The Orange Door website(opens in a new window) to find a service near you.
