Consortium partner selection

The Board discussed progress with the selection of academic and mental health service partners.

Aboriginal communities

The Board approved entering into a partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Community  Controlled Health Organisation. This will include developing a formal agreement to embed the active engagement of Victoria’s Aboriginal communities throughout the process of planning, implementing and managing the work of the Collaborative Centre.

Collaborative charter

The Board approved the proposal for the development of the Collaboration Charter. This will formalise the Collaborative Centre’s principles for partnerships and engagement.

Partnership with VMIAC and Tandem

The Board approved entering into a partnership with the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council and Tandem Carers. This will include developing a Memorandum of Understanding to embed the active engagement of the peak consumer and carer bodies throughout the process of planning, implementing and managing the work of the Collaborative Centre.

Finance, audit and risk committee

The Board approved the appointments to the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee and the minor amendments to the Committee’s Charter.
