Wanda has spent her career and personal life facilitating support and opportunities for Aboriginal women and children.  

She has developed customised cultural awareness training to unveil the history, trauma and oppression of women by agencies including Victoria Police, the Victorian court system, prisons, child protection, and mainstream family violence services. 

For 15 years, Wanda has facilitated the Sisters Day Out workshop, one of Djirra’s signature programs, that brings culturally safe legal and non-legal services to women where they live.
