Workforce shortages are more pronounced in regional Victoria

As at March 2024, 62 out of 350 (17.7 per cent) assessed occupations² in Victoria were at risk of shortage, a decrease from 35.7 per cent in March 2023.³

The proportion of occupations at risk of shortage was lower in metropolitan Melbourne compared to regional Victoria.⁴
