David McCluskey appointed as new Executive Officer for the VSA’s Transport and Logistics Industry Advisory Group

The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) has appointed David McCluskey as the new Executive Officer of the Transport and Logistics Industry Advisory Group (IAG).

David assumes the role from Ian McMillan, who has served as a dedicated advocate for industry skilling challenges since the IAG program's inception in 2016. The VSA acknowledges Ian's unwavering commitment and substantial contributions to skills and workforce development in the transport and logistics industry.

IAGs provide us with specialised knowledge and insights into skills and workforce challenges, current and future skills needs, and potential solutions across Victoria.

The transport and logistics industry advisory group covers sectors ranging from automotive, rail, aviation, maritime, road transportation, logistics, and warehouse distribution and supply chain.

We welcome David McCluskey to this important role and congratulate him on his appointment. His leadership will be instrumental in continuing our mission to address the evolving skills needs of Victoria's transport and logistics sector.
