Australia’s first Royal Commission into Family Violence was completed in 2015. The Commission made 227 recommendations to reduce the impact of family violence in our community.

Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme review
The Family Violence Protection Act 2008 requires that an independent review of the operation of the Scheme be tabled in Parliament 2 years after commencement of the scheme.

We conduct a regular census of workforces that intersect with family violence prevention.
