Grant program to support Industry Advisory Groups

The Victorian Skills Authority (VSA) is offering an exciting opportunity for not-for-profit organisations to apply for grants to provide Executive Officer services to support 1 or more of the VSA’s Industry Advisory Groups (IAGs).

The VSA’s 10 IAGs play a key role in providing the Victorian Government with industry insights and perspectives on Victoria’s skilling and workforce needs. They also identify key challenges, provide advice and work through potential skills solutions.

The 10 IAGs represent the following industries and sectors that are of priority to Victoria’s communities and economy.

  1. Arts, personal services, retail, and tourism and hospitality
  1. Building, construction, mining and property
  1. Early educators, health and human services, and sport and recreation
  1. Electrotechnology, energy, gas and renewables
  1. Finance, technology and business
  1. Furniture, textiles, timber, forestry and forest products
  1. Manufacturing
  1. Primary production, horticulture and racing
  1. Public safety and government
  1. Transport and logistics

Organisations interested in supporting Victoria’s skills system through rich engagement with industry are encouraged to apply.

Applications close at midnight on Friday 26 July 2024.
