- Last call for Learn Local pre-accredited trainers needing online delivery knowledge and skills to register for professional development in Moving Pre-accredited Programs Online on the VET Development Centre website.
Moving pre-accredited training online
The 'Moving pre-accredited learning online' professional development 2022 began 23 March and runs over 13 weeks to 15 June 2022. There are places for about 10 more participants who register this week. Late registrations will be offered a catch-up introductory webinar.
Moving pre-accredited learning online provides step-by- step instruction on how to implement a selected pre-accredited program in blended or online format. Topics covered will include:
- Selecting online learning infrastructure at little or no cost
- Building online teaching and learning resources for pre-accredited training
- Effective online teaching practice
Participants will engage once a week in a webinar, virtual workshop or self-paced learning module. Workshops and webinars will be recorded for repeat access and there will be online facilitator support between sessions.
Participants will need to commit a total of about 20 hours over the 13 weeks to complete the program.
Online teaching and learning is forecast to become an embedded aspect of post secondary education beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.
To ensure all Learn Local providers can consider and offer this option as relevant the ACFE Board has funded the VET Development Centre (VDC) to rerun the professional learning program 'Moving pre-accredited learning online' for trainers new to online delivery.
This is the last call for pre-accredited trainers new to blended or online learning to register for the 13 week 'Moving Pre-accredited Programs Online' professional development program on the VET Development Centre website.
