2023 Learn Local Innovation Grant Guidelines
The Local Innovation Grant provides funds to Learn Local providers, AMES Australia and CAE that are contracted to deliver pre-accredited training in 2023. The purpose of this grant is to support them to attract and retain pre-accredited learners and improve pre-accredited learner outcomes and learner experience.
The Adult, Community and Further Education (ACFE) Board is providing a one-off $8,000 (excluding GST) Local Innovation Grant in 2023 to be paid to Learn Local providers that have a contract with the ACFE Board to deliver government-subsidised general pre-accredited training and/or digital skills in 2023.

A Local Innovation Grant Purchasing Plan is required to provide a record of your intended purchases.
Please complete and submit your
to the Adult Community and Further Education Division at training.participation@education.vic.gov.au for approval by COB Friday, 24 February 2023. Once your Purchasing Plan has been approved by your Regional Manager, the funds will be released in SAMS2.
The Local Innovation Grant funds must be fully spent by 31 December 2023. The Department will ask you to provide evidence of how the funds have been spent in early 2024. Any unspent funds must be returned to the ACFE Board.
2023 Training Delivery Support Grant
The annual Training Delivery Support Grant of $5,500 (excluding GST) will be paid to providers that have a contract with the ACFE Board to deliver government-subsidised general pre-accredited training and/or digital skills in 2022.
