Now open for enrolments is a professional development program for Learn Local providers entitled: Making employability skills visible in pre-accredited training presented by Ms Suzy Mckenna

The program consists of three one-hour online webinars, best all undertaken to gain maximum benefit.

Webinar 1 discusses the centrality of employability skills, the importance of the skill ‘of learning’ for the acquisition of other skills and being explicit about employability skills in teaching and learning.

Webinar 2 introduces a process and tools developed bespoke for the Learn Local sector to learn about a person’s experiences and capabilities in six employability skills: self-management, learning, teamwork, problem-solving, planning & organizing and initiative & enterprise.

Webinar 3 is about professional judgement, what it means in pre-accredited delivery and how and when professional judgement is used in the classroom and in making judgements of learner gain.
