Lesson plans

You can access the lesson plans for free by visiting Cool.org.

The Conservation Regulator, through Cool.org, has developed seven curriculum-linked lesson plans for primary and secondary school teachers in Victoria.

The lesson plans aim to educate students on:

  • the importance of looking after the environment
  • the rules that exist to protect our native plants and animals
  • the role that they play in preserving the cultural and natural heritage of Victoria’s landscapes.

The Conservation Regulator and Cool.org have developed each lesson plan in collaboration with education experts. They each directly link with different subjects within the Victorian curriculum. Concepts of environmental protection are explored through various videos, printable resources, outdoor activities, and play.
