Each year, parents and carers with children in a funded kindergarten program are invited to give their feedback. They can share how they feel about their child’s kindergarten, including more hours of 4-Year-Old Kinder (Pre-Prep).
This feedback helps improve kindergarten programs and education offerings.
2026 survey
The 2026 survey will be open from Monday 12 October until Friday 30 October 2026. ORIMA Research Pty Ltd will run the survey.
How to complete the survey
Kindergarten services will send parents and carers a link to the survey to complete online.
The survey is available in English and 10 other languages. These include Simplified Chinese (Mandarin), Traditional Chinese (Cantonese), Vietnamese, Arabic, Dari, Nepali, Sinhalese, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
The survey is anonymous. Families will not be asked to provide names or other identifying information.

2025 survey results
Around 14,800 parents and carers completed the survey in 2025.
Feedback shows that 90% of parents are satisfied with their child’s education received at kindergarten.
