The 2023 Recognition of Service ceremony was held on Sunday 21 May inside the Grand Ballroom at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park. About the Recognition of Service ceremony
The Recognition of Service ceremony is an annual event that recognises and celebrates dedication, loyalty and longevity of service to the Department of Education.
Service recognition is awarded at a state level each year for staff who have achieved 40 years, 45 years, 50 years, 55 years and, in some cases, 60 years of service. Regional offices coordinate service recognition ceremonies for staff who have achieved 35 years of service.
