維多利亞州的高中教育正在發生變化
有一條新的途徑可以獲得維多利亞教育證書(VCE)。
VCE 課程中現在包括 Vocational Major 課程,此兩年制的課程已被納入VCE。
新的維多利亞州銜接課程證書也適用於需要學習靈活性的學生。

VCE Vocational Major 課程
VCE Vocational Major 是VCE體系內一個為期2年的應用學習課程。你將從中積累工作和生活所需的知識,培養信心和發展相關技能。它將助你為就業和進修及培訓做好準備。
當你從中學畢業時,你會獲頒維多利亞教育證書,證書上會額外備註「Vocational Major」 的字樣。
如果你喜歡在真實的環境中學習,將實際生活技能付諸行動,並且畢業時無需ATAR,那麼報讀VCE Vocational Major課程是一個相當不錯的選擇。
除綜合成績測試(GAT)外,VCE Vocational Major 不要求你參加考試。

維多利亞州銜接課程證書是一種靈活的課程。它是為少數11和12年級學生設計的,這些學生由於種種原因,無法或不准備修讀VCE 或VCE Vocational Major 課程。

VCAL被取代的原因
這些變化是對高中教育中的職業和應用學習銜接課程進行審查之後獲得的结果(Firth審查)。此審查結果發現,我們需要改進學校的職業教育。
現在,你接受高質量的相關職業教育和應用學習的機會將越來越多。在新的VCE體系下,你將能夠以新的方式發揮許多才能。
大多數在2022年修讀VCAL的學生已經完成了VCAL,或轉入了其中一個新課程。少數學生將在2023年修讀中級VCAL課程。
