Teachers play an important role in preventing and responding to bullying.

Bullying is when a person or a group of people repeatedly and deliberately cause distress and harm to another person either in person or online. Teachers are often the first to notice changes in a student that may indicate they are being bullied and the first to notice that a student is engaging in bullying behaviour.

Bully Stoppers has resources designed to support teachers such as learning modules, fact sheets, and advice on all forms of bullying, including cyberbullying. There is also information about how to address bullying behaviour.
