Details
Name change: The school was originally called Yea State School but was known locally as Gill's Gully. It's name changed to Homewood in 1885 when the school relocated close to the new Homewood railway station.
Closures: It closed temporarily in 1908 but reopened in 1912. It appears to have closed around 1957.
