The history of Bealiba Primary School
- 1865- The school opened as a common school in 1865. It was known as Cockrane's School at the time. The head teacher was Isles. 
- 1868- A new bark slab building was built in 1868. 
- 1870s- Mr and Mrs Eastwood ran the school in 1870. - The school became a state school at some stage between 1873 and 1878. 
- 1890- Martin Hansen taught at the school in 1890. He later became Director of Education. 
- 1914- There were 114 students attending the school in 1914. 
- 1920
- 1970- The school was renamed Bealiba Primary School in 1970. 
- 2022- Bealiba Primary School is still in operation.
