The history of Telegraph Road State School

  • 1873

    The Telegraph Saw Mill school became a state school in 1873.

    It had operated prior to this by the Telegraph Saw Mill for worker's children.

    The first head teacher was Miss Tittley.

  • 1878

    The school closed when Musk Vale State School (No. 2080) opened.
