    The school became a common school in 1862.

  • 1870s

    The school became a state school at some stage between 1873 and 1878.

  • 1907

    There were between 200 to 300 students in 1907. The head teacher was Bridget Minogue.

  • 1915

    A new weatherboard building opened in 1915.

  • 1967

    Fryerstown School closed in 1967 due to low enrolment numbers.
